Château Saint Maur, owned by Mr. Roger Zannier and his family, takes over Château Riotor as part of its development in Provence.

Maison CHANEL takes over the Domaine de l'Ile on Porquerolles with its 35 hectares of AOC Côtes de Provence vineyards on the so-called Brégançonnet and Notre Dame sites. The family Le Ber keeps a stake in the property which is in the family since the purchase of the island by François Joseph Fournier as a wedding gift to his wife Lelia. CHANEL already owns vineyards in Bordeaux with Château Rauzan-Ségla in Margaux, a Second Grand Cru Classé; Château Canon, a Premier Grand Cru from Saint-Emilion; Château Berliquet, a Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion; and in California, USA, with St-Supery Estate in the Rutherford AVA California.

We accompanied and advised two families in this transaction. A small vineyard with 4 hectares of vineyards, a cellar and a farmhouse ideally located a few minutes from the beaches in Sainte-Maxime in the Bay of Saint-Tropez.

This historic property owned by the monks of Lérins Abbey has been planted with olive trees for more than 500 years. We find some vestiges of this past in the farmhouse and some of the restanques planted with olive trees. A property to visit for the setting and its oil.
